What does Sphere Identity do to prevent customer data from being breached?

We distribute customer data globally. What this means is that we do not keep customer data all in one place. If we did that, we’d be creating a honey pot, vulnerable to identity theft. Instead, we distribute the data across a range of distributed technologies. Imagine a paper document cut into 50 pieces, each stored in a different part of the world. That is what our distributed software does.

We also have a powerful encryption library which we use to encrypt every bit of data on our platform. The encryption library ensures that only the business(es) that a customer has given permission to, can access the data. Encryption and distributed technologies provide protection from large scale data breaches and they are unlikely to occur.

How did we do?
